End of Year Isle of Palms and Wild Dunes Real Estate Market Update

Isle of Palms

There were nine closed brokerage sales for $9.3 million in December, 2011 versus seven for $9.5 million in December, 2010.

For the year there were 111 closings for $165.8 million vs. 98 for $164.7 million last year.

Through December, the price of the average sale was $746,928 vs. $840,540 last year.

Wild Dunes

There were four closed brokerage sales for $5.7 million in December, 2011 versus eleven for $11.3 million in 2010. For the year there were 89 closings for $116.1 million vs. 82 for $125.7 million last year.

Through December, the price of the average sale was $652,508 versus $766,293 last year.
