Developed in 1770, Harleston Village is a historic neighborhood known for its vibrant community life. The area is active, a place where people often elect to bike or walk, instead of travel by car. Much of the activity centers around Colonial Lake, a neighborhood park in the heart of the Charleston Peninsula. Harleston Village is close in proximity to the Charleston City Marina, shops and restaurants on King Street, the College of Charleston, and MUSC. Leaf is a popular neighborhood restaurant.
In Harleston Village you will find a mix of antebellum houses and modern townhomes. Homes typically go for $500,000 to $2.5 million and condos can be found starting at $300,000. The area is made up of mostly primary residents and second/investment home owners.
