Showings are up in Wild Dunes and one area that has reaped the benefits is Pelican Bay. Pelican Bay attracts the buyer looking for a single family residence under one million dollars with-in a short walk to the beach.

As of now, there are three listings in Pelican Bay under contract. Recent price reductions have provided incentive and created great deals for the buyer.

There were six closed brokerage sales in July, 2009 vs. four last July. Year to date there have been 38 closings on the Isle of Palms vs. 20 last year. The price of the average sale is down 19.5%.

Wild Dunes

There were eight closed brokerage sales in July, 2009 vs. five in July, 2008. Year to date there have been 29 closing in Wild Dunes vs. 119 closings last year.
