There were seven closed brokerage sales for $13.3 million in May, 2010 versus five for $20.3 million last year.

Year to date, there have been 35 closings for $79.4 million versus 22 closings a year ago for $54.6 million.

Year to date, the price of the average sale was down 8.6% versus last year.

Wild Dunes

There were eight closed brokerage sales for $10.7 million in May, 2010 versus nine for $20.7 million last year.

Year to date there have been 31 closings for $48.4 million versus 17 closings last year for $38.1 million.

Year to date the price of the average sale is $780,677 versus $1.12 million last year.

There were seven closed brokerage sales for $9.2 million in April, 2010 versus four for $7.3 million last year.

Year to date, there have been 26 closings for $58.8 million versus 16 closings a year ago for $32.5 million.

Year to date, the price of the average sale was $1.13 million versus $1.01 million last year.

Wild Dunes

There were eight closed brokerage sales for $14.2 million in April, 2010 versus three for $7.2 million last year.

Year to date there have been 23 closings for $37.8 million versus eight closings last year for $17.5 million.

Year to date the price of the average sale is $822,000 versus the $1 million last year.

Wild Dunes Resort Tennis Center Ranked #2!

Tennis Resorts Online has ranked Wild Dunes as the #2 Tennis Resort for the second time since 2005. This is a big jump from it’s ranking last year and shows what a great staff and improvement in facilities can do. Another local resort, Kiawah Island Resort, finished just ahead at the #1 spot.

Isle of Palms / Wild Dunes Real Estate Market Update – March 2010

Isle of Palms

There were six closed brokerage sales in March, 2010 for $9.6 million versus three last year for $4.4 million.

Year to date, there have been 19 closings for $50.2 million versus 11 closings a year ago for $21.5 million.

Year to date, the price of the average sale was $1.3 million versus $977,000 last year. Please remember these are macro numbers dependent on the properties sold.

Wild Dunes

There were 8 closed brokerage sales in March, 2010 for $12.3 million vs. one last March for $1.2 million.

Year to date there have been 15 closings for $23.6 million versus five closings last year for $10.3 million.

The price of the average sale in January was $788,000 versus $1 million last year.
